Blending African, Middle Eastern, Asian and South American instruments with more traditional Jazz instrumentation, Hemispheres merges myriad elements of jazz with colors and flavors from around the globe. World percussionist Ian Dogole (Global Fusion Music recording artist), woodwind viruosi Paul McCandless (two-time Grammy nominee) and Sheldon Brown (formerly with Omar Sosa), bassist/bamboo flutist Bill Douglass (with Marian McPartland) and pianist extraordinare Frank Martin collaborate to take their listeners on an unforgettable listening journey, replete with humor and a spirit of adventure. You'll thrill to this group, playing a variety of great jazz, including Global Fusion compositions.
